It’s a brand new week and I’m excited to be starting it off with Anu and Yomi’s beautiful Yoruba Wedding which took place in Abuja. This is our first Abuja wedding, and Wedding Feferity promises to bring you more diversity by featuring nigerian weddings from other parts of the country.
The Yoruba Wedding Ceremony
Anu and Yomi’s day was filled with many precious and heart warming moments, all of which was captured by the talented Four 23 Photography team. If you like colourful weddings (who doesn’t?) , then I’m sure you’ll love all the beautiful bright elements from this vivid red, gold and champagne yoruba wedding.
The bride, Anu, looked ravishing in her red and champagne lace and aso oke attire. She went for very bold look by rocking a heavily sequined gele and dramatic coral beads. Her charming husband Yemi, was all smiles in his matching aso oke agbada and fila.
Anu’s yoruba wedding bridesmaids (ore -iyawo) wore orange ankara aso ebi, while family and other wedding guests are seen in bright gold lace and gele outfits.
After cutting their akara oyibo ( engagement cake), the couple changed into a brown and gold second attire for the final part of their yoruba wedding which involved lots of dancing and spraying. I’m sure you’ll enjoy looking at their beautiful images below.
Here is a sneak peek from their white wedding which we shall be featuring soon, so keep refreshing wedding feferity.
